PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accept any aquatic turtles, sulcata tortoises, or iguanas due to space restrictions. Additionally, red eared sliders are illegal in North Carolina so we recommend finding a new home out of state. Please refer to NCWRC for more information. We recommend personal rehoming for these species, as they are very hard to place in a rescue due to oversaturation.
JULY 2026 UPDATE: If you would like to surrender, please fill out the form below, but be aware that there is a waitlist. The waitlist has 68 animals on it as of July 2026. The wait for bearded dragons and ball pythons is longer than other species. If you want to search for a reptile vet near you, visit ARAV.org. We do try to prioritize medical cases.
We work exclusively with pet reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. If you find injured wildlife, please contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.
We are unable to take in aquatic turtles, iguanas, and large tortoises due to space restrictions. We DO NOT ship animals.
