What We Do
BeWild is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that acts as a rescue for displaced reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. Founded in 2018, BeWild has taken in over 700 animals and is one of the most active reptile rescues on the East Coast. As a secondary mission, BeWild provides accessible animal education through in-person live animal programs and digital content. Read more about Our Mission!
Who We Are
BeWild is a volunteer-run organization. It is operated by co-directors Nicole D’Avignon and AJ Hallatt, along with a team of dedicated volunteers.
